  1. This is great! It would be nice to have some in the centre of Lewisham though…

  2. Hi Kate, we wanted to keep them more towards the south of the borough as these residents have quite a way to get to the Reuse and Recycling Centre at Landmann Way. We’re awaiting feedback from the company who are servicing them on the uptake, with any luck we’ll be able to get some more in place – if you do have any unwanted electrical items, using your nearest bank would mean you get one nearer to you sooner!

  3. Do you know if you can put old circuit boards in them?

    • Hi Daniel, the electricals are all sorted for recycling and reprocessing. So although we don’t specifically say that they can be accepted it should be fine to put them in there, they will be broken down and the materials separated out.

      • excellent, I’m always breaking up devices for parts and things and always end up with small circuit boards for things which I always have to go miles to recycle.. this will make my life much easier. 🙂

  4. You’ve got great insights about home-electricals,electrical appliances, keep up the good work!

  5. Very good idea, thank you very much. Visiting the site

  6. Hi, this is great, can I leave a computer keyboard and old DVD recorder (same size as a VCR)? Many thanks.
